The formulation of various types of flux cored wires used for comprehensive range of wear plates is carefully designed to give a weld metal (overlay) of such composition and microstructure that would provide extra long serivce life under a veriety of harsh serivce conditions involving high stress abrasion, erosion, corrosion and impact as well as elevated temerature.

Apart from the standard wear plates of pre-designed composions, Diffusion's R & D is fully capable of developing custom made overlay composions to meet specific application needs of customers. As such the wear plates can be offerd either simply as liners or can be fabricated into complete system and subsystem of cement steel sugar and meterial handling plants as per customer's design.
